Hussein Chalayan
whilst doing research in london for a shopping guide i am producing i took a detour to see the hussein chalayan exhibition at the design museum in london brigde. chalayans' innovative and technologically advanced designs inspire and question society and it was good to see some of his most forward thinking work in one space. his use of aerodynamics and led displays never fail to amaze! i was particularly concerned with 'absent presence' (2005) which i hadn't seen before. the film features scottish actress tilda swinton who has become somewhat of a muse to chalayan.

carrier bag design for graduate fashion week
My design for River Island Graduate Fashion Week for which I was made one of two runners up! My work will be on display at GFW 7-11th June 2009 at Earls Court 2. I also am due to recieve £100 River Island vouchers!
